Autoclaved aerated concrete block is a light and porous silicate product prepared with siliceous materials (grit, coal ash and gangue containing silicon, etc.) and calcareous materials (lime and cement) as the main raw materials and with the adulteration of foaming agent (aluminite powder) through technical processes including burdening, stirring, pouring, precuring, cutting, autoclaving and curing. It is named as aerated concrete block because it has a lot of uniform and small pores after foaming. In actual use, it has different names such as aerated block, aerated concrete, aerated brick and light brick. It is a light new construction walling material with the function of thermal insulation.
